Oscar Piastri has equalled Mark Webber’s F1 win tally of 9 grand prix victories following the Dutch Grand Prix.

It is an essential victory for Piastri, who has opened up a 34-point lead over McLaren teammate Lando Norris within the F1 drivers’ championship.

Norris failed to complete after a chassis-related challenge put him out of the race with seven laps to go.

The British driver has now failed to complete two of the 15 races to this point this season.

Then again, Piastri is having fun with a powerful ending streak, stretching again to 2023.

Webber, who’s Piastri’s supervisor, reacted to his driver’s newest victory.

Like Piastri, Webber took 9 wins in his F1 profession.
