Lions coaching change: Dan Campbell expects to lose coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn

In 2024, the Detroit Lions set a franchise file going 15-2. The staff earned the #1 seed within the NFC playoffs and had a bye within the first spherical. Detroit hosted the Commanders on Saturday and misplaced 45-31 in a stunning upset. On Monday, Lions head coach Dan Campbell spoke to the media. Although he hasn’t been instructed something simply but. Campbell is ready to lose each of his coordinators this offseason. Since Dan Campbell took the Lions head teaching job in 2021, the Lions have elevated their wins every season. Ben Johnson has been the offensive coordinator since 2022 and Aaron Glenn has been the defensive coordinator since 2021. Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn has interviewed with the Saints, Bears, Raiders, Jaguars, Jets, and Cowboys. The Lions are going to lose two coordinators who’ve helped create an id for Detroit over the past 4 seasons. Dan Campbell mentioned he’s in no rush to rent anyone and can wait to see the way it all performs out.
