Jonathan Tah to leave Bayer Leverkusen

Jonathan Tah has confirmed he might be leaving Bayer Leverkusen as a free agent when his contract expires on the finish of the season.

“All the pieces was stated from the beginning. There was a cut-off date once I made the choice to not prolong my contract and to not keep right here”.

“It stays that method now”, the German defender instructed Kicker.

The way forward for the 29-year-old defender has unsurprisingly been a topic of heavy hypothesis for a number of months now, and his vacation spot stays unknown to the general public at this level. Set to develop into a free agent, he has been linked strongly with Bayern Munich and Barcelona, although the likes of Actual Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United have been credited with curiosity as nicely.

In all competitions, he’s set to cross the 400-game mark for Leverkusen, having already performed 398 occasions for the membership, scoring 19 objectives and contributing 13 assists. He’s been a daily starter beneath Xabi Alonso and performed a significant function in Leverkusen’s Bundesliga triumph final season. He has represented Germany on 35 events.
