Johann Zarco accidentally sets lap record in training for MotoGP

Johann Zarco went even quicker than deliberate in coaching for the upcoming MotoGP season.

The LCR Honda rider was on the Alcarras circuit, in Catalunya, getting in some preparation.

He revealed: “I got here for a loosen up coaching… it seems I bought the lap document!

“All the time good to mark a second like this.”

Zarco went seventh and Sixteenth-fastest on the two-day Buriram preseason check.

Notably, manufacturing unit Honda riders Luca Marini and Joan Mir every positioned P6 on the 2 days.

Final 12 months, Zarco was so usually Honda’s most spectacular rider in his first marketing campaign with the producer.

In 2025, he enters MotoGP because the oldest rider on the grid however remains to be key to Honda’s growth.
