Jenson Button has used his personal expertise of combating for a F1 world championship to clarify Oscar Piastri’s latest struggles.
Piastri completed fifth on the Circuit of the Americas, nicely behind title rivals Max Verstappen and Lando Norris.
The Australian lacked tempo all weekend, along with his championship benefit now decreased to only 14 factors with 5 rounds to go.
Button in the end beat Brawn GP teammate Rubens Barrichello to the title in 2009.
After successful six of the primary seven races, Button didn’t win once more that 12 months.

By his personal admission, Button struggled with the strain of the F1 title race – and might relate to how Piastri is feeling.

“Clearly, the incident in Singapore wasn’t good; you by no means need to contact your teammate in a racing situation.
