UFC 320 headliners Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira had a confrontation Thursday in Las Vegas, and now we’ve an uncut video of their encounter contained in the UFC Efficiency Institute.
It began when Pereira entered the P.I. and was knowledgeable by the receptionist that Ankalaev was on a separate room. “Poatan” opened the room of the room and couldn’t see Ankalaev. Pereira and his workforce moved to the following room and sat on the sofa subsequent to Ankalaev’s coach.
The video cuts at that time, and the following scene exhibits Ankalaev sitting subsequent to his coach, apparently irritated that Pereira and his workforce sat round him.
Plinio Cruz, Pereira’s coach, tells Ankalaev that he was hiding on the following room. They’ve a tough time having a dialog since Ankalaev and his coach don’t communicate English, after which Melvin Alexander Jovel will get a translation app on his telephone to let each fighters discuss to one another.
Pereira mentioned Ankalaev “appears nervous”, and the Russian champion spoke to the telephone so “Poatan” may hear the interpretation.
Ankalaev: “When did you see I used to be hiding?”
Pereira: “Everyone noticed that. The woman working there mentioned [you were hiding].”
Ankalaev: “Which woman mentioned that? Present it to me. I used to be getting remedy.”
Pereira: “Now we have video [on Youtube]. We filmed it.”
The person doing the interpretation provides that the receptionist requested them to be separated for safety causes.
Ankalaev: “What the woman mentioned doesn’t matter. He wished to see me, and I’m right here.”
Pereira: “What’s the purpose now? He can say what he desires now. We will’t struggle now.”
Ankalaev: “It makes no distinction to me. Anytime.”
At that time, Pereira stands up walks to Ankalaev holding his telephone and translating his phrases from Portuguese to Russian.
Pereira: “We’re professionals. I respect you. However on Oct. 4, I’ll hit you. I’ll slap your face.”
Pereira sits again down, Pereira’s coaching companion Glover Teixeira laughs on the complete state of affairs, and Ankalaev has his phrases translated.
Ankalaev: “We’ll struggle on Oct. 4 and we don’t should change phrases anymore.”
Pereira: “I’ve by no means mentioned something, he’s all the time talked. I’ve by no means mentioned something, he’s all the time talked. And now that we’re shut, nose to nose, he’s an asshole.”
Ankalaev: “What’s he speaking about? What makes you say I’m hiding from you?”
Pereira: “He’s there along with his workforce. ‘Do you wish to go in there? It’s higher.’ The woman mentioned.”
The person serving to with the interpretation provides that the UFC P.I. receptionist mentioned that Ankalaev had agreed to attend within the separate room as a result of Pereira and his workforce have been arriving there.
Ankalaev had an extended reply in Russian, which the person summarized as, “Principally, he was saved [inside that room] and advised he couldn’t go away.”
Pereira then says “Chama”, and Ankalaev responds “No Chama.” Ankalaev tells his coach to go away.
Ankalaev: “Let’s go. October 4.”
