Damon Hill has opened up on his departure from Sky Sports activities’ Components 1 protection.

The 1996 F1 champion was a tv pundit for the official broadcaster within the UK for 13 years.

However he has left his position forward of the 2025 season.

Hill was scrutinised for his criticism of Max Verstappen’s aggressive driving, because the Purple Bull driver battled McLaren’s Lando Norris final 12 months.

Hill has since claimed Verstappen would “cry like a child” if he was on the receiving finish of comparable techniques.

However he believes his important phrases about Verstappen, and Purple Bull’s response to it, had nothing to do along with his Sky Sports activities exit.
