One of many massive tales late within the commerce deadline was the prospect of Kevin Durant being traded away by the Phoenix Suns.

Within the lead-up to the commerce deadline, the Phoenix Suns tried to commerce for Jimmy Butler. However they have been successfully blocked from doing so by Bradley Beal’s ‘no-trade clause’.

This led to them allegedly exploring buying and selling away Kevin Durant, who was strongly linked to his former staff the Warriors, who ended up shifting for Jimmy Butler.

The Suns are left making an attempt to patch their staff collectively for the remainder of the season, with Kevin Durant harm by seeing his staff in commerce rumors.

Following the commerce deadline, it was reported the Minnesota Timberwolves have been one of many groups who had contact with the Phoenix Suns over a deal for Kevin Durant.

Talking to ESPN’s Hoop Collective, insider Brian Windhorst described the Timberwolves’ enquiry as ‘fascinating’, however feels it was just too troublesome to make work.
