In response to Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan are in superior talks with KAA Gent over the proposed switch of Archie Brown. The club-to-club negotiations are progressing, and discussions over private phrases with the participant’s camp have begun. The seven-time European champions see Brown as candidate to exchange Theo Hernandez, who has left the membership to affix Saudi Professional League aspect Al-Hilal.
The 23-year-old left-back is a product of the academy at Derby County, and having spent two years with Swiss aspect Lausanne-Sport, he joined Gent in 2023 for a reported price of €4million. Since then, he’s gone on to make a complete of 87 appearances for the Belgian membership, scoring three objectives and producing 10 assists. Standing 6’2” tall, he’s able to filling in at centre-back, in addition to in midfield, and is ready to contribute a lot in both field at set-piece conditions. He represented England at Below-20 stage twice.
