UFC strawweight Amanda Ribas explains how she ended up ‘beating’ a 250-pound bodybuilder

Amanda Ribas flew to Sao Paulo to commentate a UFC occasion and ended up “beating” a big fashionable Brazilian bodybuilder.

Ribas was on the town to make her debut as a UFC shade commentator on community TV Bandeirantes and determined to increase her keep for an additional couple of days to go to good eating places and sizzling spots. Ribas, who competes at 115 and 125 kilos within the UFC, determined to show Balestrin some MMA strikes and requested if he knew how you can roll in grappling.

“He’s so robust. My goodness, he’s so, so robust,” Ribas mentioned of the 46-year-old bodybuilder, who s 6-foot-3 and weighs round 250 kilos in competitors. “Once you’re that robust and also you roll, your weight… He fell on his face and had a black eye, poor man. However he’s so robust, man. That was survival mode, virtually. If he decides to seize me there… I simply went for it.”

Ribas, 13-5 as a professional MMA fighter, will rematch Mackenzie Dern 5 years after defeating her by way of determination in her second UFC look, headlining UFC’s first present of 2025 on Jan. 11.
