Former Bellator light-weight champion Patricky Pitbull has inked a cope with RIZIN and already has a battle booked for July 27 in Saitama, Japan.
Pitbull, who represented Bellator in a RIZIN light-weight match again in 2019, now makes his first stroll to the ring as a correct RIZIN fighter when he faces Shunta Nomura.
The Brazilian scored knockouts over Tatsuya Kawajiri and Luiz Gustavo in that grand prix previous to dropping to Tofiq Musayev within the closing. He returned to Japan in 2023 to knock out present light-weight champion Roberto Satoshi.
Nomura received a technical determination over Gustavo in his RIZIN debut this previous March, boosting his general document to 9-2 with 4 knockouts.
RIZIN.4 will function title defenses for bantamweight titleholder Naoki Inoue and tremendous atomweight queen Seika Izawa, battling Ryuya Fukuda and Yu Jin Shin respectively.
Razhabali Shaydullaev, who not too long ago claimed the featherweight gold with a knockout of Kleber Koike, can also be anticipated to be a part of the cardboard in opposition to a yet-to-be-determined challenger.
Koike may even be on the line-up in a rematch with Mikuru Asakura. They first met within the ring again in June 2021, when Koike choked out the Japanese star with a triangle choke. Asakura not too long ago returned tot he successful column with a TKO over ex-champion Chihiro Suzuki.
