Ahmad Hassanzada is now not scheduled to make his Octagon debut subsequent weekend at UFC Kansas Metropolis.
After scoring a third-round submission victory over Dylan Mantello on Dana White’s Contender Collection in September, Hassanzada was scheduled to sq. off with Evan Elder when the UFC returns to the ‘Metropolis of Fountains’ on April 26. Hassanzada’s arrest was confirmed by way of a police report obtained from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Division and an article by AG Battle.
In line with the report, Hassanzada, 28, is charged with two felonies, one being a “Lewd or Lascivious Act with a Youngster Underneath 14” and the opposite a “Lewd Act on Youngster Sufferer 14 or 15, Defendant 10 Years Older Than Sufferer.” Bail has been set at $400,000.
Hassanzada has been formally faraway from the UFC roster
Following his arrest on Friday, the Group Alpha Male fighter has been faraway from the Kansas Metropolis card and was formally launched from the UFC roster per an announcement made to MMAmania. His subsequent court docket date is scheduled for April 22, 2025.
“Ahmad Hassanzada was faraway from his bout and is now not signed to the group,” stated UFC officers.
