After the 2024 season, the Jets parted methods with veteran QB Aaron Rodgers. He was with New York for 2 seasons. The NFL draft is lower than every week away, and Rodgers has but to discover a house for 2025.

On Thursday, Rodgers went on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Present” for a 45-minute interview. Rodgers has a powerful relationship with McAfee, and it’s the one common media look Rodgers tends to make. The four-time league MVP mentioned all choices are on the desk this offseason. He may return in 2025 or retire this offseason. Aaron Rodgers is in no rush to decide.

Pat McAfee had free agent QB Aaron Rodgers on his ESPN discuss present Thursday. When this was first introduced, many media members believed Rodgers would announce the place he’s taking part in in 2025. Nonetheless, Rodgers went on “The Pat McAfee Present” and had a protracted dialogue. Thursday was Rodgers’ first time talking publicly since he was launched by the New York Jets.

Regardless of talking with McAfee for 45 minutes, there was little to no readability on Rodgers’ future. The 41-year-old is leaving all choices on the desk this offseason. Rodgers mentioned that retirement is a risk. Three groups have been linked to Aaron Rodgers this offseason. That features the Giants, Steelers, and Vikings.

New York signed veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. They’re out of the working for Rodgers. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Community reported Friday that the Vikings are snug transferring ahead with J.J. McCarthy in 2025. That leaves the Steelers. Pittsburgh’s choices within the 2025 NFL draft may assist Rodgers make up his thoughts. If the Steelers draft a QB, Rodgers may lose curiosity. We’ll have to attend and see what the longer term holds for Aaron Rodgers. Has he already performed his remaining NFL recreation, or will he swimsuit up in 2025?
