Edmen Shahbazyan climbed again into the win column with a vicious first-round TKO over DWCS alum Dylan Budka at UFC Vegas 102 on Saturday evening.
Shahbazyan made a large assertion in his return to the Octagon, ending his opponent within the opening minute with a brilliantly-timed step-back counter proper that despatched Budka crashing to the canvas and curling up towards the fence.
The win moved Shahbazyan to 7-5 underneath the UFC banner and 14-5 total. He has now gained two of his final three fights and three of his final 5. ‘The Golden Boy’ now has 12 profession first-round finishes.
Budka strikes to 0-3 contained in the Octagon after incomes a contract with the promotion on Dana White’s Contender Sequence in 2023.
